It is very hard and it moves back without the remote.
Sturdy, better looking than I expected.
The cushion is very hard and takes time to get comfortable. The back moves when I lean back even without the remote.

old chair had space on footrest he could use to pull...
It's softer and seems more comfortable
As I said we need a three inch platform to give him enough height when he gets on and off chair. Also, the footrest no longer has space to grab so he can pull himself up. we attached a gait belt and that seems to help but it's not quite as sturdy as when there was a gap in the footrest. Now it is all filled in with the fabric. It may look prettier but when someone is disabled function is a lot more important!

70 yr old male with Parkinsons for 25 years. We have a three inch platform that raises chair a bit more.
Good quality, easy to use, not so comfortable.
Very easy to operate, easy to get up and down.
Not very soft, makes it not so comfortable, the heat feature is not very warm, does not recline enough for a comfortable sleep. Would not get the heat and massage feature after trying it.

I'm 66 years old with severe degenerative arthritis in both my knees and shoulders, with replacement on all joints anticipated in the near future.
Good for reclining and sleeping in
Multiple reclining positions, helped alleviate edema issues. Extremely quick delivery.
Not the most comfortable. Needs more cushioning over chair mechanisms.

upholstery, hand remote
in normal position it feels like you are going to slip off chair - you have to push "down" to put you in a position where you are not slipping off and in doing that the leg rest raises up. very confusing for older person.
