Lift Chair Store: Lift Chairs
The sales representative was very helpful in helping me find the best lift chair for my needs.
- 3-Position Lift Chairs - A three-position lift chair has a sitting position, a lifted position, a reading position and a recline position, which is sometimes called a "napping position". It is NOT a full recline. This is the most popular category for a lift chair with a broad range of styles, features and prices to meet everyone's needs and budget. These chairs have one motor that operate all functions. When you lift the legrest the back rest cannot be adjusted independently. For this feature we recommend upgrading to a 2 motor infinite-position or zero gravity chair.
- Infinite-Position Lift Chairs - For a full-recline position (also called the Trendelenburg Position) which elevates the feet above the heart, select an 'infinite-position' lift chair. The infinite-position lift chairs have dual motors which allow you to control the footrest and the back independently, and they recline fully, allowing you to use the chair for sleeping. If you're looking for the most versatile lift chair, these are for you.
- Zero Gravity Lift Chairs- Zero gravity lift chairs are a subset of infinite-position chairs where the seat box can raise and tilt much like an adjustable car seat. By raising the lower back, zero gravity lift chairs put less pressure on the spine. This zero-gravity reclining position correctly aligns the spine, relaxes muscle tension, improves circulation and expands lung capacity.
SpinLife offers you a comprehensive selection of the best lift chairs to meet your every need, ranging from a basic three-position electric recliner all the way to an infinite-position electric recliner. SpinLife has chosen Golden Technologies and Pride Lift Chair as our vendors of choice for their quality manufacturing processes and their creative product development.

Heavy Duty Lift Chairs - Most lift chairs can accommodate up to 375 pounds. If you need a higher weight capacity we have a wide selection to choose from with weight capacities up to 700 pounds. Most have dual motors to ensure powerful operation and reduce wear on the motors of the electric recliner with long-term use. Lift chairs in this category are also available to accommodate those who are taller than average.
Seat Lifts - Seat lifts are a great product that turns any chair in your home into a lift chair. They fit into existing chairs and come in both manual and power models, making them switch from chair to chair with ease. They are a great choice for when price is a concern. Seat lifts are also great for traveling, whether it is to visit the grandkids or to the next room in your home.
There are four basic measurements that you will want when choosing the properly sized lift chair – Seat to Floor Height, Seat Depth, Seat Width and Seat Back Height.
Seat to Floor Height: While sitting, measure the distance from base of your foot to the bend of your knee.
Seat Depth: While sitting, measure distance from your back to your knee.
Seat Width: While sitting, measure across the widest part of your hips and add two inches.
Seat Back Height: Measure the base of the seat to the top of your head.
