The quad chamber gel system helps to prevent that awkward bulge to one side when you sit. The surrounding foam takes pressure off where your legs meet the edge of the chair. The Gel stays cool for a majority of the time I sit.

Bad quality control. The first cushion was excellent so I reordered the same item and it was not nearly the same in terms of durability; I am very disappointed.
