Simple, strong, effective - just what I needed!
Good, basic design. Strong welds and good materials used. Does not interfere with rear visibility at all, either folded up or when in use.
You need to do some MAJOR work on the instructions! I found them difficult to understand and confusing. I would expect these directions in a product from China! Users should be aware that they may have to cut off part of the end that slides into a (my) Type 2 hitch. To install mine as delivered it pushed the spare tire into the differential housing, while compressing the tire on the back side. Any box channel beyond the receiver is wasted, anyway. Also, where the ramp meets the ground should be tapered to allow easier loading of the vehicle being carried. I would like to see two additional reflectors, as I added, to enhance the carrier's visibility when folded. I used the two included for when the carrier was in use.

Spinalstenosis, PAD, arthritis, age 65.
Good value for the money.
Fairly easy to use. Had to use it myself when I tore ligaments in foot & ankle. Was able to load & unload scooter without any assistance.
Requires some physical strenghth, not suitable for totally chair-bound, highly disabled people.

49 yr old F, degenenerative disc disease.
Sturdy, good quality.
The lift is sturdy and can support the scooter which weights 165 lbs.
The holes don't line up and we had to re-drill them. The ramp is too steep on our Toyota 4-4unner since the trailer hitch sits 16 inches from the ground. We have to use a small ramp to elevate the existing ramp to make it easier to get the scooter onto the lift.

My husband is a 66 yr. old male who had a knee replacement removed due to an infection.
Loading ramp needs to be longer.
Easy to install and remove the hitch.
Ramp is too short. Cannot use riser on Ford Windstar because the loading ramp creates too much of an angle to load an Invacare Pronto M51. I had to use the standard hitch which leaves only approx. 6" from ramp to pavement. Must be careful or I suspect it will drag.

Tie down is a little difficult.
Easy to load the electric chair, easy to put on hitch to use. It folds up against the van for easier parking.
Could use a weght increase maximum.

85 yrs. Neuropathy legs.
Angle of ramp too steep.
Easy to open and shut.
Depends on the vehicle, the angle of ramp maybe too steep, especially if mobility chair/scooter is made low, bottom hits/scrapes the top of ramp. Need something to be able to lock the lift to the hitch so that it cannot be separated so that it cannot be removed and stolen.

Functional, but not the best
Very sturdy, and fairly easy to use.
Holes for the spring-loaded pin holding the ramp don't line up well. Entire unit, although powder coated, began showing rust within weeks.
