Being able to raise the bed. Looks nice. Mattress comfortable.
Does not go low enough; client having hard time to get out of the bed. Also often times have problem with locking the safety bars.

She's 94 yrs. old. Had a hip surgery last year. Uses a walker and if needed a wheelchair. Has arthritis; Experiencing pains on her legs and knees.
Not for anyone who cant get out of bed.
The bed is well made and sturdy. The mattress is very comfy.
This bed, which is a twin, is too high and too narrow. Also the railings are not long enough, and when down makes it even harder to get in the bed at the proper place.

A real backsaver for me, the caregiver
The best feature for me is the ability to raise the entire bed several inches. The second best quality is the head raising feature. Helps me put the patient in a better position for removing from the bed to a wheelchair.
The mounting of the safety bars leaves much to be desired. Patient uses the bar to pull herself from the wheelchair and enter the bed. This activity has already stripped the mounting holes. Perhaps a metal plate to stabilize the mounting bolts.

It's hard to pick the first bed for a new quad, until you...
Quality of the mattress and it's flexibility in adjustments, with the exception that it does not get low enough, or as low as we would have expected it to.
Does not go low enough, the side rails are marginal, I don't think the description disclosed that you are NOT able to attach a headboard to the frame.

I am 67. I have many health issues for example advanced rheumatoid arthritis, severe spinal degenerative disc disease and stenosis etc.
I would recommend these types of beds to anyone.
Various positioning, durability, ease of operation, options.
No weaknesses, thus far.

Sturdy, comfortable, looks nice.
The side rails are a must for him but I had to have help attaching them to the bed.
