The ease of the use of the chair. My father had suffered a stroke and it hard for him to raise the chairs of other easy chairs. this one was very easy for him to use.

The padding in the seat and back are too thin and not what...
Appearance.
Comfort is lacking due to the very thin padding of the seat and back. The front of the chair drops when you are trying to exit the chair and therefore so low that it hinders the transfer of the patient to other modes of moving.

We purchased this chair for my 90 year old father. He has extreme difficulty in getting out of chairs. Also, he suffers from balance problems.
A comfortable recliner that is easy to get in and out of.
This chair fits his long torso without being overly large as all the tall sized chairs he tried. He likes the ability to adjust the foot rest and back independantly. The battery backup was important during a recent power outage.
The pocket on the side for storage of the remote etc. is down so low that it is hard to reach while sitting in the chair.
