i think you have a well built chaire
the way the moter works when you move the chair up an down it moves slow an steady
when you are all the way back an use the center button to put it down the foot rest will stick up an then it will drop down thats all i can see worng with the chair

Ease of operation. Color is gorgeous. Comfortable and versatile.

An easier, more obvious control center on the remote, make it easier to learn and to remember and obvious directions, maybe w/pictures, I don't know!
