HUSBAND HAD FAILED BACK SYNDROME, CAN NOT WALK LONG DISTANCES WITHOUT ASSISTANCE.
E-Z Carrier 2 Fold-Up Scooter & Power Wheelchair Lift:...
It is heavy duty, and easy to install once the hitch is on your vehicle.
It is heavy, so have to have help if you want to take it off. Biggest problem is that the hinges on the lift ramp are too large and the scooter catches on them. That means you have to lift up the rear end of the scooter in order to get it over the hinges both loading and unloading.

Very poor ability to use legs, have to have a scooter to get about.

The Easy 2 Carrier is deffinetly easy to install and remove. It just takes seconds. And loading and unloading my powerchair takes just seconds.
The only weakness is mine for not finding this product sooner.

It is exactly what I was looking for.
Low cost, light weight and it folds up out of the way when not in use.
The only thing they could have done to make it perfect would be to put a tie down system for the scooter or power chair.

Tie down is a little difficult.
Easy to load the electric chair, easy to put on hitch to use. It folds up against the van for easier parking.
Could use a weght increase maximum.

It is easy to use.
My car sits low to the ground so the bolt that hangs down that levels the lift drags when you go in and out of drive way.

This carrier has given me the freedom to go where I want...
The ramp that comes down to put the scooter on is lightweight and easy to lock after loading. It is made so you can secure it in place with tie-downs. I take my scooter on trips and it stays in place. The carrier makes it so I do not have to remove the back seat of my van to take my scooter with me. It is quick and easy to load on the carrier.
I honestly cannot find one weakness in this product. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a power scooter.

My expectation was this carrier would be easy to operate and the scooter would be very stable in transit. Neither expectation turned out to be true. I am trying to sell the carrier because it is more trouble than it is worth. Our scooter comes apart so we are just putting it in the trunk.

My Dad uses a scooter because he is on oxygen and cannot walk any distance without gasping for breathe.
Angle of ramp too steep.
Easy to open and shut.
Depends on the vehicle, the angle of ramp maybe too steep, especially if mobility chair/scooter is made low, bottom hits/scrapes the top of ramp. Need something to be able to lock the lift to the hitch so that it cannot be separated so that it cannot be removed and stolen.

User of ramp is for a male over 50 with heart problems who is not supposed to lift anything over 10 pounds and uses oxygen 24 hours a day.
I would only recommend it to someone who isn't as short of...
Price.
Difficult for disabled to load/unload. Needs built on tie downs.
