Grear breaks. Poor leverage to clime over obstacles.
Brakes
The foot levers to lift the wheelchair over a rise under a door opening are inadequate. Those levers need to be twice as long to lift it over an obstacle.

It has hand brakes…bicycle technology. Nice for steep hills including ramps. The brakes are also easy to lock with the levers on the push handles.
Good value for the money, with exceptions
Light weight, maneuverability
The brakes constantly drag the wheels. Had to disassemble them and place the steel pieces that the pivot bolt passes through in a metal lathe and turn the face down.020” to fix the problem. Also would be nice to have a seat cushion on it.

Would be nice to set the brakes, besides the hand brakes. If that is a feature, I am not sure how to do it.

Man that had a stroke.
Efficient, lightweight transport chair.
Stable, quality construction. Lightweight for easy transport and loading.
Can’t really double as walker for user, which is what we had hoped. Not enough weight over front wheels.

She's 91, has trouble with her shoulders and legs, so we purchased the chair to take her to appt, she loves it.
Not as good as the Invacare it replaced.
Plastic tires (as against Invacare's rubber) provide easier turning on carpets.
Plastic tires not round. Had to be trimmed or else brake grabbed. Invacare was very quiet--this one squeeks and rattles. Superior parts fitting--especially handlebars--made Invacare easier to fold up. And it weighed less.
