Some features are good, others, not so much

3.0 / 5
Strengths:

I have no car and appreciate not having to handle car expenses! I like that I can "turn on a dime" ... it's easy to assemble and dissemble...the baskets are a must have convenience for me...it's more maneuverable than a four-wheeler...it's short, so I can take it on the bus without inconveniencing other passengers...it also "fits" in bathroom stalls, if needed ... the key is covered so that rain can't get in the workings...the seat turns 360 degrees, making it easy to use in libraries and restaurants so you don't have to move chairs. I actually call it my "mental health mobile" because I can get outside and on my way without having to have someone helping me!

Weaknesses:

I got this rig because my other scooter broke down unexpectedly and I was in a panic for transportation. I probably should have purchased a scooter with suspension, as this one runs a bit "rough" on the cement. I don't like the anti-tip wheels, as they make a loud embarrassing clatter when going down even low curbs, and they don't allow you to drive onto the bus ramp without causing a commotion. One time, the "commotion" from the anti-tip wheels caused my front basket to lurch up and come off entirely, spilling its contents. The front basket is too small and I'm also nervous that it's going to come off the rig with any normal jarring; it's not screwed down. It's too bad that you can't "try before you buy" or I would have purchased one with higher quality.

I don't use it inside my small apartment but do use it inside businesses, which is where the basket(s) come in handy for shopping and carrying items.

Disappointed with two aspects of the scooter

3.0 / 5
Strengths:

Color combo, console, three wheel turning radius, battery placement and alignment.

Weaknesses:

Leather seat is not as comfortable as our old black seat on the $700 EZGo. The tiller knob is terrible at getting the teeth to stick / takes two times to get it to ever stick in place. There appears to be less legroom on this make and model than the old EZGo also. For $800+ more, we would not have expected as many cons as there are pros.

Can only rate product as "good".

3.0 / 5
Strengths:

Great looking. Controls are easy to read.

Weaknesses:

Control lever is big and interferes with hand on steering wheel. Slight movement of control lever causes scooter to immediately stop. No coast or slow down. Not enough room between seat post and steering post. Difficult to move feet when wearing shoes.

Maneuverable but needs higher quality component parts

2.8 / 5
Strengths:

Maneuverable, small and very portable

Weaknesses:

The durability of the transaxle and speed control can be improved. Speed control was dead on first day.The reflector stickers peel right off because of poor glue. Pride should spend more money on quality parts and less on the "Pride" logo and decals all over the scooter.

Go back to the finger pull lever on the console!

3.3 / 5
Strengths:

Base platform is good. All plastic items need to be stronger. The chair broke on her last scooter we got from you!

Weaknesses:

All plastic items need to be stronger, the chair broke on her last scooter as noted above. Also the hand controls are difficult for her to operate, the old finger pull control was a lot better. The paddle type is too hard for her to operate!

Okay but needs help with one issue -- ease of coupling rear...

3.0 / 5
Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Should be some easy way to line up rear axle with frame. Moving on grass with a slight hill caused it to tip over, throwing me into some trees. Cut my nose.
