The ROHO provides far superior protection over padded...
The design of the ROHO itself with its individual air cells offer a superior protection to the skin that with care will last for years. Good value given the high price.
Not necessarily a weakness, but one has to be really careful not to puncture the cushion from being too careless. No worries though, because the cushion comes with a repair kit.

better than expected
Makes a huge difference in skin protection. I had no idea it would be so far superior to the standard foam U-shaped cushion I've used forever.
Well, it ain't cheap...but worth it to me.

effective for evenly distributing weight/minimizing...
simple to use
user may slide forward or feel unstable; experiment with inflation and if necessary/possible, adjust chair to decline or tilt backwards to prevent forward slide.
