Firmness of surface and height of cushion allows the user to be able to rise out of the wheelchair, unaided.

81 year old male with inclusion body myositis. Weakened quads, forearms, hands. Also has spinal stenosis.

Very comfortable does not seem too lose its firmness. Only had it about 6 weeks will know better after 6 months or so.

The Velcro to keep it from sliding makes it difficult to remove from a folding wheelchair. Probably could use a little less Velcro.
