It is everything they say about it.
Ease of use.
It needs to accomadate a higher distance from the ground for pickup trucks. I had to lower it two more inches and drill another hole so I could put two bolts in it.

I'd be home bound if not for this carrier to carry my...
Easy to load scooter and the carrier is sturdy. We feel safe using it. No handling and shipping fee was a plus too. I probably couldn't have got it otherwise.
I've had this a short time but, I've not found a weakness yet.

Back disability, unable to stand or walk long distance. Female age 67.
It's a little tank, goes anywhere.
The 4 1/2 inch clearance, the strength of the motor, the "protection" little wheels to keep from tipping over, and the very combortable seat. It will climb much more than 22 degrees if I go at 1/4 speed, although I wouldn't make a habit of it, being mindful not to strain the motor.
The rear view mirror could be improved, it should be longer as most of what I see is me right now. The front basket will bounce off the vehicle in rough road, it should have some small latches to hold it in place, and the crutch holder is poorly thought out. I'm going to have to have the parts where the screw goes in up-side-down welded, as the screw won't hold. Another thing, when I opened it out of the box I didn't know the batteries were underneath the vehicle. The directions need to be a lot more detailed, they're way too vague. I'd include a picture of everything I got & where it goes & how it goes together. People really appreciate very good directions believe me. Spend a little money on them, you can't go wrong. Now while the clearance of four & half inches is the best there is, I believe 6 /12 inches is possible. I'm having trouble with the carrier ramps & door ramps even at 4 1/2. I have read many many reviews of scooters, and the biggest complaint was the usual 2 1/2 clearance.
