The electric lift is excellent.
The ease of adjusting width and height to mobilize the lift are a great advantage for both patient and lift handler(s).
No weaknesses thus far, except perhaps some difficulty folding it.

My paraplegic husband has been wheelchair confined for 50 years; however, within the past 2.5 years, he has had nine surgeries.
Easy to use once we figured out how to fix it when it quits...
Small footprint. Secure attachments. Low base.
Quits mid-hoist if control is not plugged in properly.

ALS
Excellent product.
Ease of use.
Could use bigger wheels for use on carpet.

94 year old male. Stroke, cannot stand.
Product works as advertised.
Provides capability to lift disabled persons.
The operating manual does not make clear that the electric plug must be removed from the socket for the device to work. Initially, I thought the product was defective. The operating manual that came with the free sling is inadequate in my opinion.

The product is terrific. The caregiver is very thankful we purchased this lifter. If we had to do it again I would make the same purchase.
Great. My home is small. This is the most compact one I...
Compact Easy to use
It is not easy to fold. I wish it was because of the space I have available in my home (small halls, etc.) It would be nice to be able to move it from room to room. I would use it more if it was easier to fold. That was one of the reasons I purchased it -- its folding capabilities -- but it is too hard for me to do.

Mom can no longer get into bed. I can no longer get her into the bed. So mostly it is used for lifting.
Very good lift so far
Lifting range. The foot pedal for adjusting width, which has two width choices.
The up and down buttons to work the lift are too small. The handles that you put the remote on are too slick. I had to put some sticky type of liner and tape it so the remote would stay in place. Charging cord is too short, and I wonder if there may be a problem in the future with the plug that charges the batteries is upside down?

This lift handles my almost 18 year old with CP and Autism. He is non ambulatory and weighs 160lbs. This is the second lift I have owned.
Depends on their needs
Construction and working details
Wheels not big enough. Not good on carpet. No way to control sway. Automatic lift mechanism hit patients knees when raised.

80 years of age. 230 pounds. Can't walk
Hard to get the back brace under and or around
Lifting. I see how it can work when our home care assistant uses it. In spite of the negative response, I would recommend it to anyone who asks me if I like it.
Figuring out how to wrap the back brace around someone who cannot roll over and sit up and away from the back of his wheel chair. Hard to roll on indoor/outdoor carpet from the living room to the bathroom.

My sweetheart has 4th stage Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. He is dependent upon a 2nd party helping him with every aspect of his daily life and function
Good quality; I'm pleased with the product
Ease of use; this will greatly facilitate transferring from chair to bed
Not the lift, but the sling: wider part of sling (which goes under the legs) could be larger to cover more area under the legs

Works well for the purpose we needed.
When not in use, folds up making it usable in mobile home or apartment.
When folding down it must be done in one motion otherwise it hangs up. As a one person user lifting up and folding down in one motion is tough to do.

The wheels are plastic. Hard to roll on carpet.

Needed a way to get mom to Dr. Appointments without renting handicap transport. This is portable, and does fit in a trunk of a car.
