Best money I have ever spent for her comfort.
She can now sit in her wheelchair as long as she wants without pain due to the way the cushion adjusts to pressure points. The opening for the tailbone is a great help.
A bit on the expensive side but well worth it. Before she dreaded getting into the wheelchair but not with the Jay 2.

88 year old who could not tolerate sitting more than 3 hours in her wheelchair because her posterior would be in so much pain.
Just the ticket!
Great positioning features. Helps her to sit upright and equally balanced on both sides
None so far. She is able to sit for 10 to 12 hours now with little or no discomfort. None so far.

It's good preventing problems, along with pressure relief...
It's comfortable, especially if you use the better seat cover that allow air flow and has some padding to it.
Having to always push the gel into place to fill the hole sitting makes. I've used this cushion for 22 years and wish it could be made so the gel stays contained. I haven't changed cushions because I haven't had skin breakdown. Obviously I do pressure relief lifts, too.

Does a good job of soothing patient's skin
Came apart at the front seam and leaked gel contents onto patient
harry k. from apollo, pa (caregiver)
84 year old double amputee
Solved skin breakdown problems.
Low maintenance yet offers protection needed.
A little heavier than the air cushion used previously. Positive results far outweigh the weaknesses.
