Perfect for travel!
I purchased this wheelchair for a brief trip to Japan. It easily folded up for airplane shipment and also to pack in the trunk of taxis. It was convenient for my husband to push me in. It was exactly what we needed and I would highly recommend it for short trips (ours was 6 days). We also appreciated how quickly our order was shipped to us. Thank you SpinLife!! This product was perfect for our needs.
Although it is great for transport, it is not comfortable for sitting in for long periods of time (not supportive enough). But, it is designed for transport, not for long-term use so it's not fair to rate it on a function for which it is not designed.

My mom 88 yrs old, very frail, uses a wheeled walker with difficulty. Prone to falls. Previous wheelchair used for outings was too heavy for her.
Comfortable and portable.
Light weight. It is not a struggle for family members to store in car.
The wheel brake is inconvenient for the pusher; my family has voiced a need for a hand brake at the handle.

Age has made long walks extremely difficult or impossible. I like being with my family and cannot do so without a mobile assist.
