Decent scooter for the price.
Easy breakdown and reassembly. Good weight capacity. Smooth running. Overall cost.
The plastic is not very sturdy, the section over the rear axle arrived broken where the screws attach it to the frame. The turning radius is not all that great.

New Upgrade
I really appreciate the larger seat, and the weight capacity for this unit.
I miss the bicycle type handlebars that they used to have on the Phoenix on my older version. I can get used to this eventually.

I am a 64 year old disabled, retired nurse. I had a phoenix scooter in 2011 and because of upgrades was not able to get any more of the batteries.
Feels not sturdy and slow
Ease of use. Has basket in front and put one in back
Seat wiggles and I am light weight

my wife is 82 years old and uses the scooter to move around the yard. we live in the country and she uses the scooter to water her flowers & etc
I am not sure I received the right scooter. The catalog...
It is a good scooter.
It will not go through grass like the one I had before. The one pictured on page 10 in the catalog is the same one I had. I am not sure I received the right scooter. If the scooter I received is the n ew model, why have you not changed the catalog picture. I also have not received the green pieces for the scooter. I really would like to know why the scooter is not like the one in the catalog. The one in the catalog is the Phoenix HD A portable scooter with a 350lb. weight capacity. A heavy duty portable scooter with a powerful 20AH batteries. Easy to disassemble, and narrow enough for indoor use. 4-W $1,599 #PHOENIXHD4. Please let me know if I did or did not receive the right scooter.
