We purchased the same chair in 2018. Due to using day and night, the foam material collapsed, but the mechanical structure was still like new. If Pride would change the foam material to a 20-year rating material, the product would be "world class".

The back of this chair feels like there are 3 VERY firm balloons at each horizontal cushion location. The lumbar support is about 4-6" above where it should be. The headrest is about 4-6" too low to support my head when sitting upright. During reclining it is almost correct.

The steel construction and chair quality is outstanding. So many positions for the headrest and reclining. I went to many furniture stores seeking a chair that would help someone with mobility issues. So glad I found this chair at SpinLife. We had another chair of poor quality that only lasted 6 months and we shopped around this time to make sure we spent out money on a quality chair that better fit his needs.. It has been 6 weeks and my husband loves the chair. Worth spending the money on a quality chair. I watched the YouTube video which was very helpful. So glad we made the decision to order the Pride Viva-Lift.

I can't think of any weaknesses of this product so far.

my second lift chair first one lifts by legs higher than this one? also more perks on first one than this one yet cost is about the same?

Multiple positions, able to raise feet independent of headrest. Extended foot rest accommodates tall individual. Large size chair accommodates large person with comfort.

Would recommend a longer electrical cord , to aid in furniture placement.
