THE ABILITY TO USE AS A REGULAR CHAIR OR PUT MY FEET UP OR RECLINE EVEN TO A POSITION WHERE MY FEET ARE ELEVATED ABOVE MY HEART TO REDUCE SWELLING IN MY FEET.

My brother, who we bought this chair for was non-ambulatory, and fully dependent upon others for his mobility.
Comforter PR-505 Extra Wide with MaxiComfort - SpinLife...
It's extremely comfortable; Dad says it's like "being on a cloud." Special order upholstery is wonderful to the touch. Infinite positioning allows him to nap during the day.
The motor mechanism moves very slow, with no option to speed it up. Answering the telephone or sitting up for any reason is a rather laborious process.

66, MS, can't walk.
I never realized they manufactured chairs like this.
The strengths are the ease in lying back, raising the legs above the heart, and being able to get out of the chair without traumatic pain, which I had been doing in my standard chairs and sofas. The edema in my legs has gone down, and I'm not sure, but I think the chair has helped.
So far I haven't found any weaknesses, and I don't anticipate doing so. I practically live in this chair and love it.

I am a 67-year-old woman with fibromyalgia. I am only 5 feet tall, and I got the small size.
Comforter PR-505 Extra Wide with MaxiComfort - SpinLife...
The ability to elevate the legs above the heart level as advised. The ability to adjust the position to ones own comfort.
I find the lift position to be too severe too soon. It is scary, I feel as though it will pitch me out. It needs to lift upward first and gradually tilt. I won't use it without my power chair in front to protect me.
