The lift mechanism works smoothly. All you have to do is run the scooter on the lift, ratchet it down and lift it up.

Design and concept are awesome.

It does not work well for me. It is expensive because I am a widow. I have to hire someone to do installation. It does not fold down to the ground, but lifts the back of my truck if I try to use it.

Motor is near its limit with a 325 pound chair. Sounds like it strains during the harder parts of the lift. Worry about its duration.

My husband has congestive heart failure and COPD. He cannot walk very far so needs his scooter.

I have been using for a few weeks with no problems. My buddy installed it on a class 3 hitch in less than 4 hours. He was impressed with what the company provided for ease in the installation and the strengths of it's engineering. He is an aircraft engine technician and engineer.

The only thing was that the platform doesn't go completely down in the back for loading and off loading. We couldn't fine an adjustment so need someone to stand on the platform to complete operation.
