50 year old, use scooter for long distances, drive load scooter and go. Easy to operate.
Back saver
The ease of use
For highway travel, I don't feel safe using just the built in hold-down mechanism. I added tie down straps. On highway, unit seems to shake around a lot, I am afraid scooter might bounce off. I'm a 77 year old woman loading the scooter on the lift. The ease of loading it is so nice. I was using a large leave steel manual lift that hurt my back. With the electric lift, I don't mind taking him out because it's so easy to load up.

Husband has bad legs. Uses a scooter to go to appointments. The electric lift sure saves my back. Was using a large steel manual lift.
AL100 Universal Platform Scooter Lift: Review
Well built, easy to use and meets expectations
Electric plug should just plug in to factory hitch location rather than having to wire car. Also, free scooter cover should be bright red or green rather than black. Easy to see and avoid being hit by another car.

Beats lifting scooter into / out of car with each use.
Great for me
Works great, easy to use
The only weakness is the front bar that stops you when loading the scooter, mine is already broken

Hamar lifts are the best!!!

Age 70, Disabled in my legs
Simple and easy to use and operate.
Sturdy construction. Ease of installation. Functionality. Does its own heavy lifting for installation -- I did it myself.
I don't think there are any.

I am 68 with severe COPD plus partial heart failure from sleep apnea. I find physical activity difficult because I get short of breath so easily.
Highly recommend this lift.
I like the ease of use and the automatic hold down of the scooter.
There are no weaknesses that I have found.

Want mobility, AL100 will make it happen.
My son found it easy to install, I helped by handing him the tools. AL100 has a solid look and feel to it. So far I am very pleased with the unit. The staff was extremely helpful.
Hard to find fault with the AL100, this unit is extremely well made. The only fault I can relate to is the fact I must find a level parking place.
