Out of all the chairs I looked at, this one should be at...
Rides very easy and smoothly. Can make tight turns. An excelent product.
The only thing I would change would be the wheel locks. Push to lock rather than pull. Since the caregiver is usually in front of the chair to lock it, pushing down is esier. She/he does not have to hold the chair in place while pushing the locks back.

My 85 pound 90 year old aunt has the use of only her right arm. She is in a wheel chair all day at a convalescent home.
Excellent quality and value
Excellent quality chair, easy to pack and go, we purchased it so that we could take him out (he has a power chair he uses at home). Works perfectly for what we intended. The vinyl seat option was a plus. Most lower cost chairs don't offer the vinyl seat option (vinyl is much better for cleanup than fabric seats). I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this chair. Spinlife had the best price on the Internet that I found, and they were very easy to do business with.
None noted so far.

I have owned an Invacare 9000 SL for the last nine years. It is a good, sturdy, well made, basic wheelchair.

footrests should be an optional and tippers should be...
easy to manage in tight places.
Weak back. It needs solid metal rods instead of hollow tubes. Some of us have to get in and out of thier chairs many times daily. These poles bend then break after prolonged use. I've gone through many chairs and not one has a re-enforced pole.
