BIG and sturdy chair. Made in USA.
BIG and sturdy chair. Made in USA. I believe that Golden Technologies makes the best lift chairs. Spinlife representative provided good customer support for a minor initial problem.
My previous chair, a blue PR-756MC had a more comfortable head and back rest. I probably should have bought a model more like it. This one is OK though. I like the arms and color better on this one and it cost less. I wish I could have tried several models before choosing.

I ordered the chair with Brisa leather.
This is the second Golden Technologies chair I have purchased. This chair is a big improvement over the first. It is well constructed. It is comfortable.
Too soon to say. When It arrived, it did not have a cord and transformer for the heat and massage. But a call to Spinlife quickly remedies that.

It is for my ninety-five year old mother who cannot walk.
Great chair for a small person.
I was especially happy to find a chair in this size. My mother is only about 5' 2". We had to prop her up with pillows in her last lift chair - the seat was too deep and too wide and she often complained that her lower back hurt. She immediately commented on how comfortable this chair is and hasn't complained about her lower back since we got it

Infinite positioning ability is fantastic!
Going from a lift position to Trendelenberg even amazed our Physical Therapist! Very nice stock material. Cushy & comfortable. Very sturdy.
The only weakness I could see was a short, stiff cord on the controls - the controls could also be larger print for those that need reading glasses.

unyeilding
very solid construction
Seat too tall. The large model too narrow. The back covering of the chair is unattractive. The power cord is tied up in a position that requires a caregiver to get on hands and knees and crawl into rear of chair to cut the tie. Lastly, I was told the chair would come in 2 pieces, not true, it came assembled, weighed around 145 lbs and the width at the arms was 35 inches. Absolutely no way one person could get the chair into a house and secondly since most interior home doors are 32 inches how are you supposed to get the thing into the room so you need 2 people, the hair has to be laid on its side and negotiated through the door. Most people taking delivery of this thing will tend to be elderly making the whole process daunting. I am fortunate in that I have 2 48 inch openings in my dining area so I had an alternate route. I get the feeling that none of your designers has ever actually tried to get one of your chairs into a house. My chair arrived damaged, scuffed on one arm and when I reported it the people were very nice and accomodating in terms of accepting a return but then told me they would dhip me a box to repack the chair. The original pachaging consited of a 3 part box, base , shell and lid, (the base of the original packing got damaged by me getting the chair off it) and the replacement was a single collapsed cardboard container and I dont know how anybody expected a customer to get the thing back into the expanded container, it took me and 2 other people to do it and then we had to tape the thing together. all in all a ridiculous experience however the staff at spinlife were extremely pleasant and helpful to the best of their responsibility

Smooth operation
The indefinite positions is great; especially with the programmable control. Very easy to operate. My knees felt much better after the first day!
1. Could use some padding in the arms. They are narrow and do not support arms when fully reclined. 2. Could use some padding in the calf area too.

I needed the lift chair because of weakness in legs from a herniated disc and arthritis of my knees.

I only wish I'd bought this for my mother last year.
My mother loves that the size of the chair fits her frame and height, not the usual one-size-fits-all which only fits tall people. When there was a mix-up and a large size was delivered, the company immediately took action to replace it with the correct size which is much more comfortable.
Haven't found any.

I am very pleased with the chair....but I would suggest one additional product to develope and sell. My mother has alzheimers, and can not walk, but can stand with assistance. When we take her out of the wheelchair and put her in the lift chair, sometimes she is not sitting back far enough. we have a hopsital pad under her, but it is difficult to slide her, especially for my caregiver. If a pad that had a very "slick" surface on the bottom could be developed that made moving her bace were available, it would be most helpful
