I bought the GetGo rollator for my 77 y/o mother who has major mobility problems due to a bad knee, bad ankle & back problems. She lives by herself & will not consider an Assisted Living community. She was using a cane to get around & support her bad knee, but this was adding pressure to her back. She was initially hesitant to use the rollator as she felt as though it made her "feel like an invalid". After I explained to her that the purpose was to help her to be able to do more, she reluctantly agreed to try it. She figured it out in about 2 minutes! This product is very easy to use, well made & versatile. I had a concern with it fitting thru certain doorways, since the bathroom & bedroom doorways are narrow, but this was not a problem. The Rollator relieves pressure on her knees & back, seat can easily be folded down so she can sit when she's tired, basket can be used for multi-purposes. I bought the tray to go with it; tray fits on seat & she uses it to take food/drinks from the kitchen to the dining room. After having used this product for approx a month, she loves it! She is now able to wash her own dishes (puts the seat down & sits in front of the sink when her legs get tired), moves papers & other items from room to room in the basket, is able to clean/dust the house, & is generally able to get around better & do more things. She also admitted that her back does not hurt as much since she started using it. I am so glad that I did the extensive research to find a product that suits her needs so well. What a great investment ! Would highly recommend to anyone with similar issues.

It is difficult to use going up & down steps. My mother still needs to use her cane to do that. We're working on building a ramp to eliminate this problem. Also, although it only weighs 13 lbs, it's a little cumbersome to carry up & down steps & lift into the car - still working on finding a better way to handle this, although is does fold neatly into the trunk once you do lift it in, but I still have to do this for her. Overall, the strenghts far outweigh the weaknesses.
