It is very easy, for one that is not disabled, to take on and off the vehicle. Therefore when it is not needed it is not in the way. This is a lift that fits on the back of the vehicle and if one does not use it every day it might prove to be in the way if you can not install and uninstall as needed. This is not a problem since I am the caregiver and not the disabled.

It would be a difficult product to use if there was not a caregiver and it had to be left on the vehicle. Even at that, I would not recommended for one who has no help. The tie down straps would be difficult for the disabled to use.
