I am 80 years old and paraplegic. Because of pressure sores I am not permitted to transfer from chair to bed and back in the normal way.

I am in a wheelchair and broke my leg so transferring was impossible. In order to get in and out of bed, I chose the lift for my caregiver to use.

Patient is age 91, not able to stand and walk, but is fairly strong in arms and shoulders. I, his wife and caregiver, can move him about and transfer
Excellent, reliable and easy to use
knowing that it going to perform as needed every time. Hoyer lift replaced two separate Drive lifts that we couldn't make function
larger wheels would make easier to use over medium pile carpet. Lower profile would make it un-necessary to put risers under bed for clearance

This electric lift is a must have for anyone who can afford it. It is worth it's weight in gold. My back, arms, and chest muscles are so much more relaxed not having to pump the hand lift- guess how much to release the valve - and run around to the back of the recliner to straighten up my mom as she goes into the chair. It is helpful to me and helps my mom feel less stressed as I lift her. Spin Life filled and delivered my order promptly. Everyone have a Happy and Healthy 2010:)

group home product serving participants ranging in ages from 21 - 51. all in wheelchairs.
Quiet, smooth running, and powerful.
It has a very large battery capacity. Four lifts per day didn't move the battery gauge below full. We always recharge at the end of the day to maximize the total battery life.
Larger diameter wheels would be more helpful on carpet.

I would recommend this to everyone.
This hoyer is so easy to use. We move it all over the house and it is a smooth lift. My Husband feel secure and so do I.
The biggest problem is if you are using it on carpet. It is alittle harder to get around.
