I am 65 years old and not in the best of health. I bought this to view fairs and such that I could not walk though.
Spitfire Scout Portable Scooter: Review
My father is the one use.
Good.
jeanette f. from wellington, fl
I buy for my father
Very pleased with our scooter.
Lightweight, we can pick it up and put it into our SUV. Good battery life. Good center of gravity.
More accessories, like a cup holder and back pouch would be nice to come standard. A few more inches of ground clearance would be nice also.

My husband is the primary user. He has COPD and cannot walk far. Now he has more independence, and can hike with me on the paved walking trails.
Great product.
Ease of use good mobility.
A little bit easier to transport.
sam p. from vinton, va
Mobility challenged, cant walk for long distances can’t stand for long periods of time
For what I bought them for they are fine: as they say you...
Affordable, wife can get around easily now.
They brake down into 4 parts but the main body can be a bit difficult to put into the car.

Weight limit.
The directions to assemble the scooter could have been better. Client had to get help to assemble it.
danny w. from davenport, ia (caregiver)
nice scooter... didn't know it had to be assembled. so i had to wait 2 more weeks before we could use it.
I would recommend this product.
Ease of use (with exception to leg length accommodations). Great with turning and backing up. Nice basket, nice speed! Great over varied surfaces (tile, driveway, grass).
Length of base. Too short for long legs. Wish the horn was louder.

Excellent.
Mobility.
Not enough room for legs. Knees are cramped.
dorothy c. from new britain, ct
I love the scooter and the way I can go places I couldn't before. I just wish there was more room for my legs to not be so cramped.
Can be difficult to connect the rear wheels.
Ease of use
Can be difficult to connect the rear wheels.

joe uses the spitfire to shop as well as going to the neighbors homes
My Mom loves it and goes everywhere on the thing!
Well built, nicely designed and fully functional.
For a person like my Mom, with mobility problems, bending over to attach the charging cord to the battery box is not easy. And, if left plugged in to the battery box the scotter will not run.
steve r. from jacksonville, or (caregiver)
The scooter is for my 83 year old mom with mobility issues. She has to use her walker at all times and thus is limited where she could go.
I like it
Simplicity of ise
