Independence.
The sturdiness makes her feel comfortable and she doesn't feel like she is going to tip over when she uses the scooter.
It would be nice if it came with more then just one reflector and if it was equipped with a seat belt.

I have a 30 year old daughter with spina bifida. We wanted more independence for her so we thought we give the scooter a try and open a new world.
Love it. But it does have a few issues.
Easy to tear down and load into my car. Has great uphill climbing power and it came in my favorite color, red! SpinLife was extremely accommodating when the extended battery took a while to deliver.
Wheels rub on the under body. Seat is not height adjustable. Needs louder horn, this tiny thing can't be heard! I also wish that it came with a headlight of some sort.

I am 60 years young, female, and 200+ pounds. I use the scooter for daily mobility issues.
Great battery life and very dependable.
Long battery life and light weight, which makes it easy to load into a car or truck.

I’m 73 years old and go to a lot of car shows and swap meets. The Scout 4 does a fantastic job at an affordable price.

Great for the price!
Ease of putting together.
Not as sturdy as we had hoped. Wish that there were maybe bigger tires.

Dad likes his scooter, mostly. You get what you pay for. At this time he wishes he would have splurged a little more and gotten more features.
The Scout 4 is a value for it's price and meets my needs,...
I like the ability to remove the motor and rear wheels to make it easier to load in my SUV along with the battery and seat.
The turning radius could be smaller - I have difficulty turning around in standard aisles at most stores.

It is the BEST SCOOTER I have ever had!
It is all around easy to to learn to use!
The beeping when one green light disappears on the dashboard, reminding you it is time to charge your battery.

My wife, who is totally disabled and unable to walk. This will enable her to get outside in the fresh air.
Disassembly for ease of handling and hauling is great.
Light weight and easy to handle, design is great for handling.
None I have noticed so far.

This was purchased for my wife. She is confined to a wheelchair. We have a larger motorized chair that is much more difficult to handle.
I believe I made a very good purchase!
The scout is very easy to get on and off and is very easy to drive.
Nothing at this time.
