I have not used it, it is much heavier than I can lift.
It seems very sturdy and friendly to use.
It needs to set higher than it does to have more ground clearence.

Spitfire Scout 4 Extended Range: Review
The chair swivels to allow easy dismount.
The chair si a bit smaller than my husband would prefer. He can use it, but it is cramped for him!

This is for my husband. He is 48 and suffers from failing kidneys and liver, as well as several other issues.

None that I have found so far.

92 year-old user with a bad left foot.
I feel I made a very good buy.
I can put it in the trunk of my car.
None so far.

I bought the scooter for my wife, her knees hurt if she walks to much, she likes to ride it, thanks!
It is just what the doctor ordered!
The battery life is great!
I wish the back of the seat was higher.

The person that is going to use it is 72 years old and has trouble with his legs and has trouble getting around, and this is just right for him.
For the money, it is a preatty good buy.
Easy to operate and turning and stopping are very good, it is also light weight to.
The specs say it has a ground clearance of 2.5inchs, but I don't know if that takes into account the anti-tip wheels on the back. But for the money its not a bad buy.

I am 77 year old male, I have had a disk surgery years ago and my legs don't work like they used too.
It enables me to get around town, to the library, church,...
It is small and easy to maneuver. You can go around corners, up ramps, into buildings. I haven't yet gone as far as it probably can go. It charges up very easily - I am able to plug it into the outlet in the hallway of my building.
Due to its compact size, I can't take my rollator with me on it (I had hoped to be able to bungee-cord it to the back of the seat). I ride on the side walks here in Amesbury - they are bumpy, a lot are brick - it would be great if there were shock absorbers!

I am 81 yrs old, no longer able to walk very far (even with a rollator). I no longer have a car. I live in an elderly housing apartment.
I wish the length was longer as I am tall.
That it is easy to use.
The length and the basket could be bigger.

The assembly and disassembly were easy, and I was able to get the scooter in and out of my car easily which was my main concern.
A dream come true.
Ease of use, comfort, and quality.
Didn't know about the breaker reset switch. Not mentioned in instruction book.

80 year old man with mobility limitations.
Excellent utility.
We enjoy our Scout's very much.
None apparent at this juncture.

My wife and I both suffer from mobility problems and our Spitfire Scout has eased that problem considerably. It has given us freedom and independence.
Great product!
Spacious.
Would be nice if it had a head light and tail light.

I am in my 70's and have problems walking.
Perfect if you need a light weight scooter.
Not too heavy. Easy to transport in the trunk of a car. Easy to use. Narrow enough to fit through the doorways.
The Charger is too hard for the user to plug in. It is under the seat and he can't bend done or even see it.

This scooter is used and loved by my 96 year old Father-in-law. He acts like a kid on it. He lives in a retirement community.
