The lift was recommended to me.
The lift arrives in two parts and requires a simple assembly.
It is a little heavy and awkward for me if I plan to disassemble and travel with the lift, which is my intention.

My 66 year old husband has IBM, which is a muscle disease.
Does eaxtly what is needed for transporting.
The height of the mast is low enough to fit in the back of car and lift through the front passenger door. I transported my wife 1,666 miles using the lift to get in and out of the car and wheelchair as well as into bed in motels.
Sometimes the wheels resist lining up with the wheel chair. The control handle for spreading the base legs sticks. After a little practice I learned some tricks for aligning the lift and chair and not over running the spread handle.

83 years old. A stroke paralyzed my left arm and leg. Need it to transport from bed to chair to car seat.

Aid for sole caregivers
Low cost. It's hard but, with this lift, it's possible to get a person off the floor if you have nobody to help you.
Difficult to maneuver on carpet. If using the product to transfer to or from a bed, you need a very high clearance bed frame to get the wheels to clear (likely not unique to this particular lift).

I am the sole caregiver for my aging (and obese) mother who desperately wants to remain in her house.
