I'm a incomplete quad c-5-6-7 level. I was in a truck accident on 1-28-2001. My age is 49. I've had two of these chairs and they work good
Does not satisfy our needs; seat is too high.
Sturdily built.
Seat level is too high, difficult for caregiver to get patient into. We should have done more research before purchasing.

I am 73 years old. I am a quadripelgic. I have had a shower chair for 23 years that was starting to wear out, so we decided to buy a new one.
Easy to adjust.
Does the job for what I need.
The seat can be improved and made softer and more water tight resistant!

I am a quadriplegic--C 4/5 for 33 years. I have always used this style of commode chair. Nothing else works. The seat, however, used to be softer.
Don't buy the seat with the open front
good design
plastic back holds water and front open seat is not usable , had to order round design , my decision to order the open front seat, was a costly mistake, had to order the round hole seat.

TO take a shower
This product is working out fine for shower and commode...
Stainless steel, and has an opening of both and right side.
I'm not sure.

65 yr. old male, cannot walk, a tree fell on him and broke his back, leg, ankle, ribs.
This
It is build well. The seat is the right shape.
The commode should be able to fit over any standard low toilet. We did not think it was necessary to measure our standard toilets as every commode we have EVER owned has slid over the toilet. We are using the commode, but it has put HEAVY scratches on both sides of the toilet bowl. Your ad should have warned of such a problem.

69 yo (quad for 43 years) will use for shower chair/commode
it delivers what it offers!
it is sturdy and that helps a patient, whatever their injuries are, to feel secure. It appears to be very well made and constructed with the best possible materials. I like its dual purpose and the convenience of usage.
I wish there was some way to wheel it in over our toilet, but the necessity of the front support makes that seem like it would be an impossibility engineering-wise. Otherwise, I see no weaknesses to date. We love it!

my husband, Doug, is 73 years old, suffering from TBI, blindness and multiple complications following a car accident in 2005. This chair is a godsend
a good product
I LOVE the fact that it folds (so much easier to travel with!)and the width of the opening in the seat makes transfers much easier. It's easy to clean, and the feet plates lock into place very well. The depth of this chair is also better suited for roll-in showers that what we've had in the past.
The feet plates arrived put on backwards, but we were able to fix that with the tool provided (but no instructions). The container under the seat does not securely fit in the holder, making it easy to tip/spill if pushing the chair in or out of a roll-in shower: NOT a good thing!

The shower chair takes care of what it's intended for.
The open commode seat and the 24in rear wheels for ease of self propel for usage.
The parts start to rust over time when using for showers. I just would recommend anyone who purchases this item use some WD-40 once a month for the ball bearings and where the metal parts connect.

compared with what is available
Warrenty - used it and it went well Good Brakes, which are an important feature
seat hard and cracks, would have preferred a swing back arm instead of having to take it off. The feet rest need straps because a quads feet fall back
