I have difficulty walking with balance problems. This item works great. Holds very well. Doesn't block the roll of toilet paper. Easy to assemble.

The toilet seat does not stay locked in. Get loose too many times when patient is trying to get up.

Raised Toilet Seat with Detachable Arms: Review
Ease of siting down and getting up.
The mechanism used to tighten the seat to the toilet sticks out from front of seat. You tend to run your calf across it getting on and off the toilet. For normal people, it's just a scrape or bruise. However, with older people, especially those on coumadine that have "thin skin" because of age and medications, it tears the skin and causes multiple problems. You should STRONGLY consider developing a soft cover that will cover the turning mechanism and protect the user's legs. Thanks.

Older woman needs to elevated seat to sit down and not slide off because of the bars.
Great product!
With the height, I no longer have to strain by lifting myself with my legs. The padded arms on the product give me a place to rest my arms. The locking mechanism gives me the assurance that the product will not move and I will not slip off.
I just wish it were wider to more accommodate my wide frame.

Design, durability, quality construction. Very easy to assemble and disassemble to move from one location to another. The arms provide real safety and stability.
