Lightweight, solid feel and looks pretty cool.
The new folding design cuts a few more pounds off of the weight and because the frame basically "locks" open the chair has some characteristics of a rigid frame... doesn't flex as much so more of my push goes toward forward movement rather than frame flex. Also, it doesn't have the squeaks that come with a less rigid folder. This chair took a little getting used to because of the center of gravity I ordered and the angle of the leg rests so it felt different than my previous chairs. Now that I'm used to the new feel I wouldn't change back. This thing is pretty "tippy" so be careful what center of gravity (CG) you order. The CG will make quite a difference in how easy this rolls, especiqally over carpet. I picked the 5"x 1 1/2" casters and find that size to be seriously better than the 1" w casters for rolling over carpet, dirt, grass, the cat's tail, etc.
The manual they send with these chairs really isn't very good... almost like they throw some token stack of papers in with the chair so they can say it comes with a manual. There are many adjustments needed to correctly set up your chair and it would be so nice if they better explained some of the adjustments a little better. Example: The back upholstery shipped with a loose end "flap" that is not described anywhere in the manual and doesn't look like it attaches perfectly to the upholstery. I tried a couple of things and ended up calling the factory for an explanation of where the flap folds up and attaches to the seat sling. This didn't need to be such a mystery. The toolkit was free so it is hard to complain except that it has some allen and torx wrenches that don't fit anything on the chair. Even worse, the toolkit doesn't come with some wrenches needed to do basic adjustments. You will still need a couple of open ends, a screwdriver, etc. Even with these few complaints the Quickies are better than the competition and the GTX is an immense improvement over the traditional folding frame "heavies" I used in the past.
