I was expecting a low quality chair just to get Mum around for a bit until her disability kicked in to get her a better chair. I don't need a better chair! I ordered this on a Sunday - got it on Tuesday. It's sturdy and narrow (I got the 17" - cuz Ma is a tiny gal). Fits through doorways with ease. It's lightweight. Folds down in a fraction of a second. (Squeeze. Done.) Unfolds in a fraction of a second. (Pull. Done.) ((Does NOT fold in on parent.)) The legs attach/detach in seconds. (Quick. Click. Bang.) Ma "messed" herself. Cleans up with bleach/water in a jif. (Drool. Jelly. BBQ sauce.."other", etc..) Rolls over carpet (by pushing or self-prop) easily. At 30+ pounds, I can swing it into the bed of my full-sized pick-up truck quite easily (and take it out)[not with her in it, though]. [Lock the brakes, it doesn't roll all over the bed in transport.] If you "accidentally" roll your Mum/Dad into a snow bank...it doesnt' rust! (Hey! I was distracted by a "75% Off" sale..leave me alone! Ha!) Pushing off and/or standing from the chair doesn't make the chair roll away very easily - at least on carpet. Comfortable seating for hours (Mum sits in it from 8-14 hours a day, voluntarily; "better than couch", she says.)
The front wheels are a bit big for self-propelling - Ma keeps hitting her feet when turning. When your Ma/Pa are self-propelling be sure to lower/fold down the top half of the back rest/handles. It shortens the chair by 4 inches and makes getting through doors by themselves easier (unless you don't want them to). It does not come with on-board GPS to remind Mum where she is at random times during the day. It also does not come with cup holders (Mums' complaint).

My 75 year old mother was visiting and we purchased the wheel chair for her visit.
Using chair ALOT!
Lightweight, easy to handle, somewhat comfortable.
The left back handle is very difficult to bend down when closing the chair. It does not release easily. It takes several times to get it down so I can fold the chair. The right side is as simple as pressing the release button.

My mother, 80 years old, recovering from a broken hip.
makes our bathroom HC accessible!
no large back tires which makes for a very small turning radius, making our long, narrow bathroom accessible for my husband. Light weight, making it easy to peddal with just one leg.
did not need the leg rests but they came as a package deal. Could use extensions on brakes as a no/low cost option.

Very good chair for in house use
Narrow enought to go through all the doors in our house
The foot rests of thin light plastic are not of the best quality--should be changed to a better grade more safer plastic
