This product has allowed my husband to be able to get into...
The strengths of this product are how many features are all wrapped up into one chair...the dimensions of the chair to fit through smaller doors, the wheels, drop-arms, dual uses as toilet chair and shower chair, and because of all this, minimal transfers, which includes just one transfer from this chair to a power chair.
Unlocking the brakes on the wheels is sometimes difficult, but we can live with that because of all the other great features.

My husband is 57 years old and was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease in Jan. 2008. As his confidence in walking with crutches became a factor,
Sturdy chair that that will last for a long time.
The strengths of this product are: smaller chair that will fit in smaller doorways, good construction of chair, fair price.
Don't pull on the drop arms to transport patients. The pins that hold drop arms in the metal brackets will pull out. Push from the back of chair or the bottom brace.

IM A 78 YEAR OLD USER.CANT WALK ANY MORE.BEATS USING A BED PAN.IALSO SHOWER WITH IT,GREAT BEATS SPONGE BATHS.
Excellent multi-function/use versatile chair.
Adaptability and less chance of injury for user. The chair means one move for Mom instead of seven. We use a Hoyer lift from her bed to the chair. Before this chair we lifted her from her bed to her wheelchair to the toilet chair, back to the wheelchair, into the shower chair, back to her wheelchair. Now, it's one move until she reclines after her morning routine. Yeah!
Height and legrests. It would be great if the chair could be adjusted for smaller users and the legrests lifted for healthier circulation. The flat seat could be more comfortable and the lumbar could be better supported, but for the price, I'm not complaining.

Very limited mobility but can transfer from the electric wheehchair into bed or another chair.
Great product for the price.
This chair is everything that the specifications say it is. Buying one of the more expensive versions, unless it will become the user's primary chair, would be wasting money. If you are looking for a secondary chair for bathroom/shower use, this is definitely the one to get. Don't be fooled by the much lower cost. It is well made.
As others have mentioned, the brakes are very hard to disengage. This isn't a problem for us though, because we rarely use them. The only other problem we ran into was the height of the toilet. It is a very tall model, and therefore required that we remove the track that the portable potty slides into. This was not difficult at all. Just a few screws and it came right off.
