Drop-Arm Transport Commode Chair

Ease of use. Transfer to and from wheelchair

Needed to be modified to clear a 17" regular commode.

The arm folds down for ease in getting patient to the commode.

Chair is a little to tall for bedside transfer.

This is a good product. Easy to assemble which is very important. The back of the chair is too tall for assisting a person who cannot move themselve

Well made.

Wheel swivel bearings are the first thing to go out. The rest of the chair seems to last forever.

Area of the wheels rusts very easy.Buy two years it will look very old and wheels will freeze up.Also a couple of other points on chair will rust.One extreem point is the tube that the movable foot pad swivals.It rusted through on my old chair which was two years old.This was why I had to buy a new chair.

The drop down arms and locking wheels for safety and transferring.

Don't know of any as of this time.. We will have to see how it holds up in the shower..

The chair is to low for a tall person.

The chair is great. I am using it for the husband who is in a wheelchair most of the time. The only thing wrong is he is 6'3" tall.

Locking wheels and movable armrest - both helpful in transfers.

None obvious after a months use.

Unforunately, I never thought about size. I have a typical fiberglass shower stall and although the chair just fit, it left me little room to move. Measuring before ordering certainly would have been wise.
