She is able to operate to change positions herself once she is in the chair.

The feet should be made non skid. We had to put rubber under the feet to keep it from sliding when getting in or out. This works but if chair gets bumped they can come out and chair is too heavy for me to lift to put them back in place.

This chair was purchased for my 87 yr old mother who is a stroke suviver. Her left side is affected.

The lift chair is the best thing it saves my back from trying to lift my dad. excellent made very well, looks great with my other furniture. the chair is very comfortable my dad loves it.

Petite, wide style very comfortable for short, heavy person. Smooth and quiet operation. Footrest elevation prior to back reclining is a good feature. Also like fact back cushions can be restuffed easily to keep plumpness.

Needs better method of attaching arm and head covers so they stay in place.
