My mother has MS and I have to take her out for her doctors appts. This transporter chair has made a tremendous difference!
awesome, lightweight, foldable, easy to put in the car!
The best thing about the Comet 349 to me is that it is so easy to pick up and transport in the back seat. I no longer have to lift a heavier chair into the trunk, which I need when I shop. If this chair folded any smaller I could put it in a bag and carry it over my shoulder. I've had two neck surgeries so this is great for me to lift compared to other chairs we've used.
For my needs it is perfect. It is a transport chair and not one that someone would push themselves in but that's what I needed for outings.

Good value for a compact yet full-featured wheelchair
Compactness, full features, removable arms
Comfort - really needs a complementary pad; Strength and leverage - lifting the front wheels over a step is a little challenging

My mother-in-law is 89 and suffers from spinal stenosis; she is not able to stand or walk on her own. This chair has been very helpful to her.
