An unhappy experience.
Works without batteries.
Poorly designed. Poorly constructed, noisy pump. Unfit for human use. Made in China.

Very easy to use and compact. Does not take up much room.
Very easy to use. Not hard to use hydraulic pump system. Patient is transferred very satisfactorily.
The standing sling can sometimes slip a little making patient feel a little uncomfortable.

had to modify. My main resident has a tendency to stick his foot out, had to put a plate in front of where he puts his feet so that his feet will stay on the stand-up pad.

The greatest strength is that it designs what it was designed to do, move a person from one place to another with least effort and danger to either patient or caregiver.
My first choice would have been to have a battery operated machine to work the hydraulic lift.

A novice could use this great product.
Mainly ease of use, am able to move my mother from bed to chair and back again per one person. Thanks for a great product with a very reasonable price.
It has one draw back, the arms needs to be about 6" longer to be able to sit her back further in her bed and recliner. The bed rail want let it go under the bed, to sit her down without having to physically lift her from the edge. Medicare should pay for this since they pay for the other lifts that scared my mother because the chain caused her to move out of control.
