My 100 year old mother uses this product to go long distances; we have had several issues
Very uncomfortable sitting bolt upright. Also, one brake...
Only used it once, but it's lightweight, makes it easy to handle.
To me, the seating would be more comfortable if the back had more slack in it. Then I wouldn't be sitting bolt upright in a most uncomfortable position. I spent an hour in it, and was glad to get out of it. On the whole, it will fit my purposes, and I'm glad I purchased it. Also, one brake rubs the tire and makes a grinding noise. Will have my son look at it. Can't be too hard to adjust.

Lightweight Expedition w/12" Rear Wheels: Review
Lightweight and ease of loading and unloading
Definitely needs a brake that can be set by caregiver while assisting patient with loading and unloading from the vehicle. Cannot lock wheels at the table in a restaurant. From the description, it sounded to me like you could "set" a brake. That should be better clarified in the description.
