Great for in home use

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

Lightweight and ease of use

Weaknesses:

Only problem we had was the delivery by FedEx. It was delivered on the bottom of stair steps (don't you think a wheelchair would be needed at the top of the stairs?)

My husband was using a smaller, lighter wheelchair that was not working well for his size. The Veranda standard chair with the 20" seat is perfect.

Both chairs have already broken. They were not used daily....

Weaknesses:

The back broke off of one of the chairs; screws came through the nylon. The casters on the front wheels broke off of the second chair.

Works great for intended use

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

Easy to use and collapse. Fits well in back of minivan. This is a great, portable, generic chair. Great basic wheelchair for trips or short term use.

Weaknesses:

Just be aware this is probably not something you would want to sit in day in and day out. But it's GREAT for a day here and there, and trips.

I really like this wheelchair, it is light, the seat is comfortable and it rolls easier than the one my insurance company insisted I get from a rehab

Exceeded expectations

4.8 / 5
Strengths:

It's very easy to maneuver, much more so than my previous wheelchairs. Handles turns very well. I can even turn 360 in place. At 18" it can fit through most doors. The fact that it folds helps me take it through tight spaces. Has a pouch on the back that I use to store my cane. Handlebars make it easy to carry a backpack. I often thread my cane through the backpack handle when I put in the pouch so that it doesn't wobble much. The front wheels are relatively large in comparison to my previous wheelchairs which makes for easier handling of curbs and bumps and potholes in the sidewalk. It's relatively light so it's easy to take up the infamous one step; assuming you have the ability and there's no ramp.

Weaknesses:

The brakes are poorly manufactured. My right brake broke immediately, as soon as I went on the train. I slam my feet down on the ground if I need to stop suddenly, but if you don't have that ability I definitely recommend looking for a different chair. It is a manual wheelchair so it takes some strength to maneuver.

The chair is rugged and functional. Best price I found, too!

Weaknesses:

If it were lighter, it would be perfect.

Strengths:

I love that the metal is textured so as it gets dinged, which it will from normal use, it will not show as much! It's a very sturdy unit! And it was here in three days!! I would recommend SpinLife to others! Thanks so much!!!

Weaknesses:

I have not yet seen any!
