The shipping of my product was such a hassle. I was told I would not need to sign for it by a spinlife representative, but when I got the shipping confirmation, it said that a signature would be required. The shipper gave me a date of delivery, so I made sure to be home that whole day so I could sign for my powerchair. I also made plans for the following day that required the use of my new wheelchair, thinking I would have it. When the delivery date rolled around the shipment never showed up. I got an email about thirty minutes left of the delivery window saying it was delayed. When I checked the current location of the package I realized it was only about an hour from me and since I needed it for the following day I decided to call the shipping company to see if I could just drive out and pick it up. Long story short I was transferred to a supervisor who said they could get it to my local store today to be picked up and she would call me back later that day once it was there. I never recieved a call back and the store never recieved my package. I then called back and got transfered to a manager that said I was lied to and that would have never happened and that my package was bow on a store hold and was going to be delayed even longer than the original delay. After a lot of back and forth trying to figure our what my options were the manager said she would call me back in an hour once she looked further into the case and our options. She also never called me back. The next day I got a notification stating that they attempted delivery of my package that morning and there was no answer. I checked my Ring camera and there was no attempt at delivery. I once again looked at where it was located and through process of elimination took a guess as to what facility it could be at. I then drove out to the facility and was successful at locating and bringing home my powerchair. The amount of stress and frustration this caused was completely unacceptable and the fact that I was lied to multiple times by higher ups in the shipping company was not okay. While this is not the fault of Spinlife when I had called to let them know what happened, they basically told me there is nothing they can do about the mater and that I would need to reach out to the shipping company or BBB to report the situation. After the headache it was the last two times speaking to the shipping company and being given false information multiple times I knew that me calling them again wasn't going to do much of anything. I am frustrated with Spinlife for not attempting to help report the situation and see about cutting that shipping company from ones they use. Besides the shipping conundrum the rest of my experience went fairly smoothly. There was some damage on my chair when it showed up and Spinlife did get new pieces swiftly sent to me. It took a few calls, but they also finally sent out a technician to replace the damage part and take a look at my turn speed issue. While the turn speed issue was not fixed since it's a problem with how Golden Technologies programed it, the tech was able to assist me with all my other questions and concerns. Lastly, before placing my order I requested to do a separate order for an accessory for my chair with the twenty percent offer, but the accessory didn't have an individual sku yet. The agent helping me was able to eventually get it an individual sku, but did not attach the promotion that was being offered and instead attached a lesser offer so I did not proceed with that purchase. Also, Spinlife does price match other locations, but only in price and not anything more. So while both Spinlife and another retailer I was looking at shared the same price the other retailer included a year's worth or warranty/in-house service for free. When I asked if Spinlife could match that, I was sadly told no. I ended up going with Spinlife anyway since their finance option worked out better for me.
