Overview

The eMotion 25 is a pushrim activated power assist that attaches to most manual wheelchairs. The power assist can be easily attached or removed with the quick release button located in the center of the power assist. eMotion can be transported in any vehicle and only weighs 17 lbs. The automatic battery charger connects to both batteries at the same time and can be charged within a few hours. The eMotion attaches securely to your wheelchair without fear of disconnecting. Attachment is as easy as putting on any kind of standard wheel on your chair. The eMotion is also beneficial to wheelchair users reducing muscle activity and reducing joint pain.

What Makes This Different

The eMotion 25 is powered by an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery. When fully charged the battery will provide up to a 15.5-mile charge range* and speed up to 5.3 mph. The battery is easy to charge. The charger connects to the eMotion 25 by inserting the charging plug into the charging socket and the cord simply plugs into a standard outlet. Simply press the on/off button on each wheel and start propelling yourself. If you upgrade to the ECS remote control you will press the power button and an optional bracket can be installed on the left or right side. The ECS remote control lets you select if you need more or less assistance and shows a battery display. When rolling up a slope there is a delay in braking where you are able to take your hands off your wheels to adjust and then continue when ready. With the Bluetooth connection to your app you can monitor the remaining battery life of the control as well as the battery life of the power unit.

The eMotion 25 is easy to use and can be taken almost anywhere. Weighing in at just 17 lbs., the eMotion 25 is easy to transport. It can be taken on a bus, car, airplane, or train and easily stored. The accompanying APP has some great features to customize your ride, check battery life, your speed and record trips. Mounting of the control unit can easily and conveniently be placed on the right or left side of the wheelchair. The control unit allows you to turn it on or off and adjust speed by just tapping it. The eMotion 25 can handle terrains from gravel to wet roads or the floors in your home, whether carpeted or smooth. 

What You Need To Know When Ordering

We need to know what the make and model of wheelchair and the frame width and rear floor to seat height you’ll be attaching your eMotion 25 to so our Product Experts can ensure you receive the proper mounting attachment and hardware for your chair. It is recommended that you charge the motor battery every night after use to maintain longevity of the battery life. The eMotion 25 is compatible with Android and Apple operating systems for the App.

Warranty Information

Limited Warranty
Section 10

What the Warranty Covers. Subject to the terms and conditions of Section 10, Seller warrants that the Smoov product will be free from defects during the Warranty Period (“Warranty”). All other products purchased on the Online Shop are provided as is with no warranty. If there is a conflict between the Warranty described in Section 10 and any warranty included in the Smoov product manual, then the Warranty described in Section 10 will control. The Warranty gives Buyer specific legal rights. Buyer may also have other legal rights, which may vary from state to state.
 
Coverage under the Warranty starts on the date Seller ships the product to Buyer and ends upon the earlier of: (i) 24 months (or 12 months for lead-gel battery components) from such shipment, or (ii) any subsequent product sale or other transfer of title to any other person (“Warranty Period”). Seller reserves the right to withhold coverage under the Warranty if the Buyer is more than 30 days past due on any payment or invoice related to the product covered by the Warranty.

The Warranty is extended only to the original Buyer who purchases a product new and unused from Seller. The Warranty is not extended to any other person or entity and it is not transferable or assignable to any subsequent purchaser or owner. Coverage under the Warranty will end upon any such subsequent sale or other transfer of title to any other person. The Warranty is valid only in the United States mainland.

A copy of the Seller’s receipt or invoice is required for coverage under the Warranty. For serialized products, Buyer must provide Seller with the product serial number to obtain Warranty coverage. To obtain Warranty coverage, Buyer must notify Seller in writing of the defect no later than fourteen (14) days from discovery of such defect. Such notice must include a description of the alleged product defect. After Seller receives the returned product, Seller will verify the defect. If the product has a defect covered under the Warranty, Seller will handle the Warranty claims.

If within the applicable Warranty Period the product or such components shall be proven to Seller’s satisfaction to be defective, such product or component shall, at Seller’s option, be repaired with refurbished or new parts, or replaced with a new or refurbished product, free of charge, including all necessary shipping costs. Seller’s sole obligation and the Buyer’s exclusive remedy under the Warranty shall be limited to such repair or replacement. Product repairs or replacements shall not extend the Warranty Period – coverage for repaired or replaced products shall end when the Warranty Period expires.

The warranty does not include wear and tear items that have exceeded their expected life, or improper handling or misuse of the product, including but not limited to:
• products where the serial number has been tampered with or removed;
• wear parts, such as brake pads, tires, tire covers, control elements and batteries;
• defects caused by normal wear, incorrect handling including failure to comply with the instructions in the operating manual, accidents, damage due to recklessness or negligence, damage caused by fire, water, force majeure and other causes that are outside Seller’s sphere of influence (e.g., connection to the wrong voltage, use of impermissible overload fuses, repair of the product by persons who have not been authorized by Seller, improper assembly, modification of the product, etc.); or
• maintenance tasks due to daily use (e.g., replacement of blown fuses, adjustment of the chains, etc.).

Limitations and Exclusions. THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 10 SHALL NOT APPLY TO PRODUCTS SUBJECTED TO NEGLIGENCE, ACCIDENT, IMPROPER OPERATION, MAINTENANCE OR STORAGE, SOOT OR SMOKE-FILLED ENVIRONMENTS, OR OTHER THAN NORMAL APPLICATION, USE OR SERVICE, OR TO DEFECTS OR DAMAGE TO PRODUCTS MODIFIED WITHOUT SELLER’S EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MODIFICATION THROUGH THE USE OF UNAUTHORIZED PARTS OR ATTACHMENTS) OR TO DEFECTS OR DAMAGE TO PRODUCTS FROM REPAIRS MADE TO ANY COMPONENT WITHOUT THE SPECIFIC CONSENT OF SELLER OR TO PRODUCTS DAMAGED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND SELLER’S CONTROL.
THE EXPRESS WARRANTY IN SECTION 10 IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND THE SOLE REMEDY FOR VIOLATIONS OF ANY WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT PURSUANT TO THE TERMS CONTAINED HEREIN. THE APPLICATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHATSOEVER SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN.
