Other residents in the facility want her chair.
The chair was fully adjustable to her body and her needs. She was so excited that the back "hugs her back clear down to her butt". Since it also reclines she is comfortable all the time. Her facility has extensive outside grounds and paths and her wheelchair goes better outside than some others. It doesn't hang up on the speed bumps and goes well on the road. But it still is small enough for inside the facility and has a wonderful turning radius. Since I researched and bought this on line I was very happy that it turned out so well!
The joy stick control is very touchy so with her age and poor vision it has taken some time to learn how to use it and not bump into walls and doorways. She is very feisty and determined but others might have a harder time. There was difficulty getting the thing delivered and set us since she is in a very small town.

My mother who is 97 & has just moved to assisted living. She has a very bad back and blockage in her legs that makes walking very difficult.
does what it'd supposed to do. Easy to control
solid product, as advertised
Knobs that hold arm rests stick out too far and often strike walls, door jams etc.

92 years old.Chronic arthritis in lower back. Bent over at a 45 degree angle.
Relatively satisfied.
Simple in design and operation.
Front caster wheel inversion in direction can create a real space problem when attempting to back out of a tight space. This severely limits access to such areas as a bathroom or against a cabinet. Owner’s Manual omits some critical information for setting up the Sunfire, such as the shroud being held on with Velcro type material and that it has to be removed to initially connect the batteries. Would have been helpful to know, before installing the seat assembly. Owner’s Manual also refers to a battery charging status Amp meter that doesn’t exist. Would be very helpful in actually knowing when the battery has been charging long enough if it did. Checking the Battery Gauge on the controller would be great, except instructions tell you to make sure the controller is turned off during charging. Armrest side pin bolts had to be removed in that they constantly caught on narrow door jambs and anything else the chair got too close to.

Female, 66 Stroke with no function of the left arm or leg.
Great chair for the money.
I've only had this chair for a couple of weeks, so it's too early to give an unqualified approval, but out of the box it's very impressive. Small footprint, very responsive direct drive dual motors, sensitive and programmable controls, highly adjustable chair with an almost full reclining back, easy disassembly for transport for those of us that can't afford a modified van.
Need to be aware of the sensitivity of the controls. It takes very little effort to move the chair in a full circle.

This is a great electric chair, especially for the price!
This chair has a great turning radius, and it moves comfortably.
I don't think I have any complaints about this chair.

I have spinal cord injury, T12.
It has changed the way i feel physically because it's so...
Easy to assemble and use....meets all my needs, sturdy, easy to get through doorways.
The only complaint I would have is, it didn't come with assembling instructions. It went together easily enough, but connecting the electrical system was a mystery....finding that little plug-in and connecting it for the power. Other than that...none.

The price of the Sunfire Plus Indoor power chair was far...
Dad wanted an on-board charging system and was delighted to find that that was the system used in the Sunfire Plus. It's also a very attractive chair compared to others.
Dad didn't like how far the joystick stood up, but realizes that for some patients this is a beneficial feature.
