I need only the up and down functions. Do not recommend...
the control panel is recessed so that people who might lean on it cannot change the settings accidentally. It is made in the USA. The control panel is fairly easy to figure out.
patient pendant too long & unwieldy. Have to reach up 4 inches on it to get to up button. Up & down buttons not raised so as to be able to use pendant without looking at it; pendant lights up to help you find the right button, but I have to pull it out to look at it; can't find buttons needed by feel as in my former beds. Pendant has too many bright lights for patients who need darkness at night so as to produce melatonin which combats osteoporosis. The first two buttons on pendant are totally useless for me; they have to be locked out which then adds more bright orange lights. Too many unneeded buttons which have to be locked out to avoid mistakes. Only 5 inches of difference between the height I use to get out of bed & the lowest position I can put bed in without undoing the reverse Trendelenburg tilt I need. If I take bed just a bit too low ( a mistake easy to make), it undoes the tilt & patient can't remedy it. Have to call caregiver to fix tilt. Have had other fully electric beds equipped with the Trendelenburg & reverse Trendelenburg positions; they didn't have that problem. Am comparing performance of this Joerns bed with former beds. Patient pendant on former beds much more user friendly; whole arrows were raised

My father is a quadriplegic
Bed is not as advertised or as described in owner manual,...
sturdy, quiet operation, clean finish
obsolete square tubular frame limits positioning of patient with Hoyer lift. Frame is too low to floor. Torodial tube frame is curved upward to create more clearance for legs of lift to fit under bed.

I only regret only the partial foot raising.
It is easy to use, comfortable and top quality. I especially like being able to take the bed up or down for reaching the night stand and being able to put my feet on the floor.
Raising my feet only part way. I would have preferred having my feet at the same level as my leg legs.

I am an elderly person who needs an adjustable bed. This one is exceptionally nice and has only one minor drawback. I need my feet lifted at night.

Great Adjustable Bed
I like that you can go as low as you need and the caregiver can put it as high as needed so they do not have to lean over and put stress on their back.
Wish the cord was a little longer and not so coiled.
