Age 90; limited vision;walks indoors with walker for short distances
made my life immediately alot easier.
brakes to secure chair from moving while loading chair;the large wheels on the rear make passing over many more obstacles easier and safer than i ever could in the 4 same sized small wheeled chair. i havent used the regular wc since making this purchase. i can toss this one in and out of the trunk and easily be ready to roll in seconds. im planning on ordering another one to always keep in the car trunk.
brakes are not very effective on any real grad, without slipping and making noise. but that not why i bought this. no touch up paint is available to this looking fresh

daily transport around home and in/out of vehicle
light, easy to travel with,
light weight, folds nice for travel, larger wheels
wheel brake that can be set, or better yet a deadman brake. larger wheels for more off pavement travel

Easy to lift, easy to maneuver, even up steps
The grooved pedal on the back allows you to tip the chair back to go up a step, then ride up the step with the large back wheel, without the passenger feeling like they are going to tip out.
The footrests make it heavier, so it is better to remove them before loading it into the car.

My mother's stroke has left her unable to walk more than short distances. This chair allowed her to go back to the grocery store.
a good lightweight wheelchair for traveling
Lightweight, sturdy, easy to use
Footrests should attach permanently and fold out of the way; really needs wheel locks--very inconvenient to use handbrakes alone.
