Lightweight and a seat that is guaranteed not to sag.
Wheels are flimsy feeling. Sides of the seat have steel bars with large screws, so that it does irritate and hurt my legs. I have to use a pillow type pad to cover those steel bars on the sides. Also have to use a pillow behind my back because the back of the chair doesn't come up to my back.

Comfortable heavy duty chair - ideal for tall users.
The chair is well made and easy to use. The taller height makes it easier for my wife to push me when needed, on a ramp for instance, when compared to a shorter chair. The best feature is the 21.5 inch seat height. This allows a tall user to position his legs at a comfortable distance from the seat. This is the primary reason I selected this chair. The chair rolls easily and it is very easy to use in stores that have narrrow aisles. The seat material and double thickness back fabric is comfortable enough to use for long periods without the need for a cushion. The availability of an 18 inch wide seat helps make the chair comfortable when a coat is required during cold weather but does not make the chair so wide as to be difficult to use.
The taller seat height give you less leverage when you grasp the wheel to propel yourself. I think a chair with a 21 inch seat height should be equipped with 26 inch wheels. I ordered adjustable arm rests and found when the chair arrived that these are neither needed nor recommendend for use by the manufacturer. The owners manual states specifically that they should not be installed on a heavy duty chair. The sales consultant should have known this and the option should not be listed on the web page for this chair. I wasted money on an unuseable upgrade. The adjustable height back rest is positioned at 90 degrees and this decreases the comfort of the chair as well as slightly reducing leverage. I would have been much better ordering a fixed height back with a slight back angle. This is a problem associated with ordering a chair you have not actually had a chance to sit in before you buy it. Lastly, the chair is heavy and the tall size makes it more difficult for my wife to lift into the car. This, though, is an expected trade-off.

Invacare needs help
History says Invacare products are excellent. My old wheelchair,Invacare, was excellent.
Wheelchair arrived without three supports on each wheel missing for the hand ring. Wheel locks were very hard to operate. Spinlife was very helpful and has asked the manufacturer to send new hand locks and supports. They have not yet arrived.
