the fact that I don't have to manually rise and lower is a great one to my back
this is the second one we have in the house, and have not found any weaknesses (except for my back and arms)

Power Patient Lift: Review
I purchase this lift because I wanted something that was of quality. I am so pleased, especially when I received the medicare paid manual lift. Manual lift is not safe, it has no wheel brakes.

To help with placing me on bed and shower bench, but proved to large for bathroom and was returned to Drive.
sturdy and strong lift
Easily goes under any bed, base is just a couple inches high. Extends further over bed than regular manual hoyer- more reach.
Not easy to get plugs plugged in all the way on first attempts. Should make a note in the instruction sheet to push the plugs up very hard when setting the lift up.
