Allows us to do a lot more things together.
Ease in handling - very light weight. Folds compactly. Price is affordable.
Foot rests seem to be flimsy - afraid they will break easily. Chair does not push easily on carpet or up slight grades. Could use a little larger wheel. When the chair is folded up to put in vehicle or under bus for storage, the foot rests should be able to be folded to side to take up less space but they flop around and fall off. If left in locked position, the plastic foot rest part is very vulnarable. Would rather not have to take them off. If they could lock somehow to side as well, it would be a great help. The back folding down really doesn't seem to be necessary. One side does not lock into place without some twisting to line up. Never put it down. Would give that up for the other mentioned features.

great deal - this product is terrific especially for the price. made a huge impact on my elderly mother. she loves it and me too.
Light and easy to
lightweight, compact, easy to store
Well, it does squeak a little, but I knew that prior to purchase thanks to a review. Guess it wouldn't be so portable if it had larger wheels, but would be nice for the user to be able to push themselves versus just walking-motion with their legs...hope that makes sense.

My Mom will be 80 yrs old on 8/1/11. She is in End stage renal failure, fell and broke her hip to name two of her medical issues. She is the toughest
This transport chair is just great. So glad we purchased...
The weight is the greatest strength. I can take him out without any problems. It is lightweight, yet it is very sturdy. It fits so easily in the trunk of our car. All of the parts are so easy to work, from the fold-back handles, footrests and wheel brakes.
So far we have not noticed any weaknesses.

93 year old mother; cannot walk far; congestive heart failure, high BP and A-fib.
It's lightweight and not too bulky. Fits in any trunk
It is easy to carry, can be brought to the door of a plane, where a baggage man can take it and store it in the underbelly of the plane, or easily stored on a bus or train. It fits through all doorways on a cruise ship. The back folds down, and the footrests are easily removable. It's 18" wide, and even I can fit in it (snug), and I'm 210 lbs. and 5'11" It's perfect for traveling, and I bought it for our cruise, and it was perfect
The only weakness I've found is that the footrests come loose in the tubing and turn, or slip away from the riders foot. The instructions tell you not to tighten them too much because of the possibility of splitting the aluminum tubing, but if they're not tight enough, you'll have a problem while in transit. Maybe I was just being overly cautious, and didn't tighten them enough. What I did was carry the small wrench that was furnished, which will fit in your pocket, and one did come loose at the airport, and on a tour. Otherwise, the quality is good.

My wife is 62, 5'5" and 120 lbs. and has had a couple strokes. She can walk, short distance, but if we go to the airport, on vacation excursions, etc.
