First of all, the delivery guy was most helpful, offering to place the pallet on my driveway rather than in the street. The box was deeply dented in the back, but upon inspection, there was no damage to the EW36. With minimal effort, we got it on the road for a test run, and true to advertising, it was charged and ready to go. After three days of short runs to the store and back, I decided to take it to where I worked before my surgery (2.4 miles). It performed well, but I have a question about why there is a 'shimmy' or 'vibration' when I use prolonged medium to full throttle? It almost feels like a car when you've thrown a weight off of one wheel. Other than that, I added convex spot-mirrors to both sides, I got tired of looking at my shoulders in the mirrors. I have taken it for a run to one of my Dr.'s, some 10-12 miles, and was amazed at over half of the batt. life left, and speed and performance did not decrease.

I received my scooter and it was well packed. The only negative was the instructions about charging was some what confusing. I hade problems figuring where the rest button was. Also the instructions talked about a battery box . I checked twice the box it came in and didn’t find any battery box. I ended up just putting the two batteries where the instructions said to put them. Sitting under the seat.

The width is perfect for our home that has narrow doorways. Other options would not fit. It is also easy to lift into and out of the car for PT appointments. Construction is good and user finds it comfortable to sit in. It folds up very well to fit into the back area of our small vehicle.

The chair appears to be well made and durable. I love the power lift. I can do so many more things now that I reach so many more places. It is worth the additional cost. Using the joystick definitely takes a little practice, but once I got used to it, I was amazed at the maneuverability. The turn radius is great in tight spaces.
